recording with adobe audition

Hi, I am trying to record my taylor acoustic through the tonematch to pc using adobe audition and through USB. It works but the sound quality and tone are terrible. Doesn't sound any better than the laptop mic. Any ideas on how to configure?

Re: recording with adobe audition

Hi chadley,

You might want to check that recording software is actually using the T1® as the recording source.

I've actually done some ugly recordings because the recording source was the laptop microphone. The playback was through the T1® but I hadn't configured the software to use the T1® as the recording source.

ya i had that thought too because that is what it sounds like but I checked the source and it recognizes the T1 and I marked that as the input source so I am not sure

Re: recording with adobe audition

Hi Chadley, I believe if you are using your Tonematch as your mixer you need to set the Audition recording input to 48 bits rather than 44.1
