Hi,
I purchased a SoundLink Revolve from the official website several months ago. However, recently I accidentally spilled some wax on it and the wax was stuck in the holes. Now the sound quality is bad... Does anyone know what I should do with it? Much thanks!
PS: I tried to find support, but I cannot locate the serial number on my device (I tried the bottom but found nothing meaningful and the font is awfully small)
You have probably ruined it. You could send it in for repair or buy a new one.
Hi MyOnlyRose,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community!
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the sound quality after spilling wax on the SoundLink Revolve.
It's likely that some of the wax may have dripped through the speaker grill and cause damage to the internal mechanisms. In this case, I would recommend getting in contact with the team. Click the LINK HERE, select your country and scroll down to 'Contact Us'.
If there is anything else we can do for you, please reach out again!
Kindest,
