Bluetooth delay

Hello,

I have a sound link colour device.

When I try to connect it to my TV via bluetooth, I have a small delay (<1sec).

It is not that big, but still annoying.

I have tried to reset my device, but no luck.

Anything else I could try?

Thanks!

Re: Bluetooth delay

BT often has this issue, especially when you are looking at an older speaker.  Besides the fact that a small speaker like that probably won't help the sound quality much.

The only real ways to overcome this are:

Purchase a newer TV (Newer BT transmitters tend to be better)

Connect by cable from the headphone out (some newer TVs no longer have this)

Purchase a sound bar

Re: Bluetooth delay

I have a Samsung TV (QN55Q6).  It has an option on the audio expert settings of "Digital Audio Delay" in milleseconds.  This imho, has become pretty common for most of the 4K TV sets (regardless of size).
