I have a brand new Soundlink Micro and have downloaded the Bose Connect app. V11.01. Whilst the app recognises the unit, it will not connect. I have read and tried all the suggested remedies to no avail. The standard connect method works, so I can listen to music, but I want to be able to change the settings and update firmware as required.

Lets begin by updating the firmware. This can be done via a computer using a USB and visiting our firmware update website btu.bose.com, which will provide you with full instructions.
Following this, I would also reboot your mobile device.
