Hello,

I am sorry that you're having this experience.

So I understand correctly, the LED is Yellow constantly whilst using your speaker after charging?

Have you removed your speaker from power?

Yes, it always lights yellow when the speaker is charging or not charging.

Sorry for my late reply. My speaker is being serviced, but I want to know about the symptoms of my speaker.

Re: Bose Soundlink Mini ll Solid Yellow light (green + amber)

Same here guys. I reset my soundlink mini 2 several times and the light still stays on. It does not charge over 90% and so it’s stuck. Tried to connect it to Bose BTU website for a possible firmware update, but Bose keeps showing that the firmware is up to date. So I’m stuck. Still works though but don’t know how long. Thanks!

Re: Bose Soundlink Mini ll Solid Yellow light (green + amber)

Have any of you guys already solved this? I have just had this same issue for the first time... all I can say is that it was fully charged and now, without using it, it has 90%... Already tried 2 different resetting procedures ( with 1- Power and 2- Multifunction buttons) but no results whatsoever...

Hi All,

Thanks for posting and joining the discussion!

The reset processes described by @tn9459, are great steps to try, so if you haven't already done this I would recommend doing so! The steps for the reset can be found HERE. The other process they described is putting the speaker into "ship mode" and the instructions on how to do this can be found HERE.

If the LED is staying constantly yellow it does suggest that your speaker is not charging correctly, so it is worth testing another USB cable and power supply to charge the speaker, in case they are not providing enough power to the speaker. The SoundLink Mini II requires a power supply that is rated for 5 VDC, 1.6 A, so any USB charger rated for this will work, if you are using a power supply that is not rated for this the batter may not charge correctly.

Let me know how you all get on!
