Bose colour II soundlink connection with Mac book pro Catalina OS keeps dropping

My Bose Color II Soundlink Bluetooth speaker which was working very well with my Mac Book Pro has suddenly stopped working while I was using that on a Skype call. 
Connection with Mac Book Pro keeps dropping. 
I have tried everything I can to resolve.

- checked speakers firmware that’s up to date 

- reset the speakers and tried connecting again but no luck 

- restored factory settings but still the same issue 

I don’t know what else to do.

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your speaker. 

 

I would recommend resetting the MacBook Pro's Bluetooth module. To do this: 

 

  • From your keyboard press (Shift + Option/alt keys and click on the Bluetooth icon at top Mac’s menu bar) 
  • On the Bluetooth menu, you'll see 'Debug' hover over that.
  • Click 'Reset the Bluetooth module'
