The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Bose soundlink color 2 wifi question

I just ordered the Soundlink color 2 as a gift for a friend. I just realized that the rural area where she lives has bad to non existent wifi. Will this be an insurmountable problem for her to use this product??

(1.0.7, 4.8.1, 1.7.0, etc.)

App Version

(4.1.1, 13.0.2, etc.)

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on

(Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.)

Since this is a BT speaker, lack of wifi will not affect how it works.  As long as your device (Phone/computer etc) has a music source and BT you can connect them.
