Re: Bose updater app wont launch

To all Apple Mac Users ,

I had the same similar problem , The only work around was to

1> Go to the same link for Bose Updater , please find the Link below
http://btu.bose.com/?p=-1#section=connect

2> Select the product which u own from the right corner drop down

3> Update the soft ware

* But above all steps to be done in windows laptop machine only  that's the only work around Apple Mac are not supporting the existing app

Also last but not least reset the speaker , please find the steps below to reset

1> Remove the plug from the charging source in case if its in charging mode
2> Turn on the Device
3> Hold the ( . ". ) button on the speaker for 10 seconds until u see a flash of light appears on the LED and immediately release your fingers
4> Then put it for charging , this works like a Boom

RIP apple

Re: Bose updater app wont launch

Hi

I am also experiencing similar issues.
my battery is too dead to use the connect app to update however when I try to use the btu.bose.com link it says my device can’t support it and therefore does not download/launch.
Is there anything I can do from home to fix this? Any suggestions welcome.

Many thanks

Re: Bose updater app wont launch

Had to send my speaker back for repair just three months ago for the second time.  Was using it last night, left it in its dock overnight, got home from work today and the red light is flashing again.  Ran through all the suggested fixes again, tried to install the app again, nothing works.

Re: Bose updater app wont launch

Not sure whether or not this answer has been posted, but I had the same issue until I plugged the speaker in first....the update automatically started once the unit was connected to my computer.  (mac)

Re: Bose updater app wont launch

This link finally got to work for me after multiple failures to the BSL updated.

http://btu.bose.com/?p=-1#section=connect

Thanks a bunch...the red blinking has stopped after the upgrade and is now charging.

Re: Bose updater app wont launch

I'm having this same problem. Did you find a fix? I'm thinking my operating system is no longer supported. Battery not charging
