Enable Sounddock Portable power lines on 30-pin connector

Hi,

I'm looking for some help on how to get the SoundDock Portable v1 to unlock the power lines.

My intention is to draw 5V USB power via the 30-pin connector.

According to the pinout, there should be power on pins 23 (5V USB) as well as on pins 19 & 20 (12V FireWire).

But when measuring the pins (I'm using this 30-pin breakout board) of the SoundDock there is none. I suppose the dock needs a "wake-up" signal to enable the power lines?!

I am unable to comment on this as this is not something Bose would recommend doing.
