Tried resetting my Bose SoundLink Mobile speaker 2 using the method of holding down the mute button.. still the red light blinking 😞

I'm sorry to hear about this. A reset would've definitely been recommended but if this is not helping, I'd advise trying to update the product firmware HERE. Afterward, let us know if you notice any change in LED. If nothing changes, it may be best to contact local support and look further into the available service options.
