SoundLink Color II AUX and microphone

I've been through product documentation and every post in the Community to try to find the answer to this seemingly simple question:

Does the microphone work through a wired AUX connection from the SoundLink Color II? I'm looking for a speakerphone device, but Bluetooth and USB aren't options (long story). We don't need call control features on the unit, just the ability to talk and hear.

Please advise!

In regards to your question, you will not be able to use the mic whilst connected to Aux.
