I got a soundlink micro as a gift and it wont power on. It is full power but no power no lights. The connect app shows it in range but wont connect bluetooth

I'm sorry to hear you are also having issues with your SoundLink Micro speaker.
To troubleshoot this issue, you can attempt a firmware update via a computer. Visit http://btu.bose.com then follow the on-screen instructions. The USB charging cable can be used to connect the Bose device to the computer.
If the issue persists, please try swapping out the USB cable for another, and also try using a different charger. Smartphone chargers are perfect, but computer USB ports tend to be somewhat underpowered.
