The software update that Bose has provided does not recognize my Soundlink III. Does anyone have any suggestions before I reach out to customer support?

Just to double-check, is the speaker we are using the Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker III? If you are unsure you can confirm this by putting your serial number into the Product Identifier
May I ask which software update we are referring to? The reason I ask is if we are using the Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker III, it does not have any updates available for it.
