Hello pepitablue,
I would love to help! You can find the steps to disable voice-prompts here. Aside from this, how do you like your speaker so far?
Do let me know if I can help with anything else.
@pepitablue @Vicky_W Be aware you can go into the Bose Connect app and turn off voice prompts but that will result in your hearing a beep instead and that can not be turned off.
easiest way is to press “+” and “-“ volume at the same time.
It’s too bad the voice prompt volume can’t be adjusted. It’s so loud in the evening when the room is quiet.
@Quantomizer(I do not work for Bose)
If you read in the other community the ongoing current discussion about ringtones, what I have shared there (unless Bose says otherwise), that you can control the volume of the streaming audio, but if that audio is interrupted by an incoming phone call, the volume of the ringtone is rather loud and it is not obvious that it can be changed/controlled.
That post was about the QC35 headphones, but I was able to duplicate the 'issue' on the Revolve as well and suspect it is likely the same for all Bose BT 4 devices.
I'm slightly confused by your reply here. Are you saying there's a way to control the volume of voice prompt and ringtone?
