Tried the following:
1. Reset the Bose Mini speaker to factory settings, 2-3 times.
2. Did a SMC reset on the MacBook Pro 2019.
3. Did a bluetooth reset on the MacBook.
The disconnection is frequent, no solution. I wonder how Bose has not found a solution to the issue.
The iPhone and the Bose speaker retain connection without issues.
The MacBook Pro and another bluetooth speak works well too.
I have the same problem - and its since the Catalina upgrade:
I've tried the Bluetooth Reset - the problem persists.
In addition, there is a persistent hiss and distortion when playing back iTunes content.
Playing Pandora isn't possible
None of these problems occur when I pair my Bose AE2 Soundlink with my iPhone - everything works perfectly - no connection problems, no hiss, no distortion
The issue is definitely specific to Pandora, Catalina, Bose BT connected speakers - in my case the AE2 Soundlink
Please help - would be nice to have all the years of buying Bose products rewarded with some attention on this topic
Thanks in advance
I have to reset Bluetooth basically every time I want to use my QuietComfort headset on Catalina. My Klipsch speakers and all other Bluetooth devices work fine with my Mac after the Catalina upgrade. Only the Bose headset doesn't work. I've liked this headset, but it's useless if it won't work. When is someone at Bose going to make fixing this a priority?
