Volume issues when turning speakers on via Bluetooth

Issue occurs both on Revolve and Revolve+, and with different iOS phones.

When turning on the speaker by connecting to it via phone's Bluetooth, the speaker turns on at variable volume. Sometimes the volume is so low, that turning up volume on the phone barely makes any sound on the speakers, and sometimes it turns up at maximum volume.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect to a previously paired Revolve speaker using Bluetooth interface on an iOS device

Expected result: Volume of the speaker matches the volume of the iOS device

Actual result: Volume of the speaker is unpredictable

I usually resolve this problem by turning the speaker off and on again using its own power button. The volume is then restored to that of the iOS device. I believe this is a software issue, as the issue is reproduced across different devices.
