incomplete update

I was in the process of updating the firmware of my evolve portable speaker when the speaker lost all charge. It was 70% into the update. I have connected the speaker to the dock but it doesn't appear to be charging. It won't turn on and won't connect to my laptop by cable. 

Does it just need a long charge? can I fix this myself? It has been charging for 30 minutes and theres still no response.

Any ideas?

I am sorry that your first post here is of a negative issue but I would love to assist you. 

 

I would like to see if we can get the speaker charging. Bypassing the charging cradle was a great idea. Let's ensure that the speaker is getting enough power to charge without it. The power requirement is 5 vDC, 1.6A, do you have a wall charger that could support this?
