I've been getting this above error everytime I launch CSD 5.8.2. I actually get a warning prior to this message saying that "Port 69 is being used by another aplication and that it's required for firmware updates. Please close any other application before updating firmware. " When I click OK, I get the error message above. All this without even being connected to a DSP.
I forgot to mention that I uninstalled 5.8.2, downloaded it again from the Bose site, and reinstalled it. Still have the same issue though !
Any suggestions?

Solved! Solution.
Hi,
I had the same issue and for me the cause seems to be that the Dante Controller-services were not running.
Specifically I make sure that the following services are running before starting CSD:
"conmon" (Dante Control and Monitoring) and "DanteDiscovery" (Dante Discovery).
See attached image from taskmanager, with services (swedish: tjänster) currently stopped.
