ControlSpace Designer v4.0

On October 13th ControlSpace(R) Designer(TM) software version 4.0 was prematurely placed on pro.Bose.com. It has since been taken down from the site, and will be made available on its official release date of November 11, 2013. During the time it was available our web analytics indicate that up to 260 downloads of the application occurred during this time.

This ControlSpace Designer 4.0 release includes a number of new features specifically related to the new ESP-880/1240 and 4120 which are currently undergoing their final testing and validation. During this final phase of testing several critical issues have been resolved, and will are included in the ESP-880/1240/4120 firmware files that will be included in the November 11th release. Also included in the November 11th release is a new version of PowerMatch amplifier firmware to address an issue which affect a small percentage of systems.

If you downloaded the ControlSpace Designer 4.0 release you should be aware of the following:
  • The CSD 4.0 release downloaded in October SHOULD NOT be used for installing systems which employ ESP-880, ESP-1240 and ESP-4120 hardware.
  • The CSD 4.0 release downloaded in October can be used for any currently available hardware (ESP-88, ESP-00, PowerMatch amplifier models, CC-64 and CC-16).
  • The CSD 4.0 release downloaded in October can be used to design systems which employ ESP-880, ESP-1240 and ESP-4120.
  • The CSD 4.0 release which will be made available on November 11th at pro.Bose.com can be used with any Engineered Sound Processor (ESP), PowerMatch amplifier or ControlSpace control center.
