Hi everyone,

I want to know the dynamic range of ESPLink output card...
And also, does ESPLink input card for PM accept other optical audio besides ESP?

Thanks!

Re: Dynamic Range of ESPlink card

Hi Sunny. Some answers for you:

What is the dynamic range of ESPLink output card?
At 24-bit, the ESPLink output card has a maximum S/N of 144 dB, but is limited by the dynamic range of the source. For example, if using an EDR analog input card in an ESP-00, this dynamic range would be 116 dB (A-weighted).

Does ESPLink input card for PM accept other optical audio besides ESP?
The PM ESPLink card only accepts audio from ESP processors that send from ESPLink outputs. It runs at 48 kHz and uses very low (nanosecond) latency. ESPLink is a Bose 8-channel digital audio format based on 48 kHz ADAT but not necessarily guaranteed to work with ADAT products.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
