ESP22-D is not a endpoint in ESP?

Hi there all!

So im installing a number of ESP22-D. But i have a difficulty to understand something.

The ESP22-D is called a Bose Dante Endpoint right? So why is it not under the Dante Endpoints toolkit tab in CSD? I have a ESP-1240D and 2x MSA12X are in that tab and i can use them als a Dante Endpoint Block. But the ESP22-D not ? Why?

Do I have to manually add a Dante Input and use the Dante Controller to assign the connections?

Using the latest and greatest of CSD. Also updated everything.

Re: ESP22-D is not a endpoint in ESP?

Hi Marc,

The EP-22D is a bit of an earlier endpoint design, and can not be integrated as an auto-discovery device or auto-subscribed directly in CSD.

The solution is as you mentioned. Use Dante Controller to subscribe Tx/Rx channels to/from the ESP, and then bring those channels in as Dante input or output blocks in the ESP design. You can then label the blocks appropriately.
