The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Hi all,

Without Dante-ESP card, ESP88 cannot be found using CSD, connected to the network port;
Dante card inserted, ESP88 still cannot be found connected to the network port; But if we connect PC to the primary port of Dante card, and then connect the network port of ESP88 to the secondary port of Dante card, the ESP88 can be scanned...

Re: ESP88 found only via Dante primary port

Hi Sunny,

Have you checked the status LED (unlit / red) when you were not able to connect, the 5 Vdc of the power supply (5.2 Vdc) and the PSU harness?
That is most of the time the issue when you cannot connect to an ESP88, although I have no explanation yet why it will work when connected through a Dante card.

The status LED of ESP88 is normal.

Is there a simple way that we can reset ESP device? Maybe through a RS232 or other way?

At first, we inserted the Dante card into a ESP-00 II, and then scanned the system. There came a message said 'Please upgrade the Dante IOCard Firmware to version 8 or newer'. We upgraded it,IO card firmware, but then we couldn't scan the card anymore...
