How to replace a broken Bose logo on a Bose 802 Mk 3

I have a Bose 802 Mk 3 with a broken Bose grill badge and have purchased a replacement. I have removed the grill and note there is a starlock fastener over the square peg on the back of the logo. Do I just remove this and push the old broken piece out or does it screw in some way?

Hello Clive,

It is a push-on clip, so please remove it from the broken logo and push it on the new logo (after you have inserted it in the grill 😉 )

Re: How to replace a broken Bose logo on a Bose 802 Mk 3

I have removed the circlip and the broken logo and replaced with new. Its not as tight as on my own Mk 3's as I did not wish to break the new logo.  I am going to take the Bose to an engineer I know who used 802's though mot Mk3's. It is probably the circlip needing to be pushed lower down the shaft of the logo. It is trial and error at times
