Re: QC30 - feature request: a quick method to disable Noise Cancellation

Let me clarify the feature request as it seems that it was not understood.

We understand that one can select the level of noise cancellation level but at certain point it starts using the mic and sort of amplifies the ambient voices or noise.

What we are asking for a simple switch perhaps in the app. Using which, one can switch off this system of noise cancellation completely.

It will give us two advantages :

1- Saving battery life

2- (More important) we can get rid of thise white noise which can be heard when noise cancellation is active (no matter at which level you set it to).

Hope it makes our request clear 🙂

Re: QC30 - feature request: a quick method to disable Noise Cancellation

I think everyone has explained enough on how to quickly disable ANC feature with a hot key or from App.

It will take just minor firmware change to do this, if BOSE is really listening to consumer feedback from this forum it should have been done by Now.

Re: QC30 - feature request: a quick method to disable Noise Cancellation

Amazing indifference Bose support team shows to this simple request, I do appreciate their research and development of this cutting edge technology that I celebrate, but it’s a simple request, sometimes isn’t needed an active noise canceling feature, especially when an “static’s noisy silence” is perceived.

Bose team, can you develop a mechanism to turn off completely the noise canceling noise, to just hear the music?
