Somebody that previously posted on fixing this problem suggested a solution that worked for me. I put the offending bud in the charging case by itself for about 15 seconds and then used the case reset button. Repeated this process for about 3 minutes using the case reset each time. Replaced both buds after this process and the BOTH charged to 100 %. I believe the poster that suggested the fix was an electrical engineer of some sort. What is very discouraging to me as a multi device Bose owner, is how Bose has seemingly decided to ignore this problem which appears to be widespread.

When you say repeat the process, do you mean take the sleepbud out, put it back in wait 15sec and do a reset - take it out again, put it back in wait 15 sec and reset over and over again for 3min? thanks

Did not work 😞
Yes, 100% was displayed, but sleepbuds discharged after 2 (left) and 7 (right) hours "as usual". I can get this "false display of 100%" almost every time after single case reset 😞
