Battery dies within 20 mins

Have you guys seen this issue befoe? Sleeping buds are fully charged (see attached pic 1), then they die within 20 mins (see attached pic 2). The left one disconnects first. If I put it back in the case and try reconnect, it will stay connected for 5 secs.  I think it's a battery hardware failure. Firmware version is 6.0.4.0

Update: I called Bose support and they will ship a replacement to me. They agreed that it sounds like a battery issue
