Delivery of replacement sleepbuds

My 1st pair of replacement buds are scheduled to be delivered via UPS today. Does anyone know if Bose is requiring UPS to get a signature? I am debating whether I need to take some time off the intercept the package.

 

Also, have seen on the sleepbud public facebook public forum that a user, who is on their 5th pair, said that you shouldn't update the firware on the buds but just do the case update. They are saying that the issues with charging etc started when they updated the sleepbud firmware. I also noticed that as my issues didn't start until I update the sleepbud firmware via the Bose App. For me I didn't update tha case firware until about a month after doing the sleepbuds.
