This is the best solution I can find. I've been doing it for a week and my ears are no longer chafed.
You need to add/remove the tape each day, but it beats sore ears...
Thanks for posting. I would agree with @Mohsin_S that you should contact your local Sleepbuds support team using the link he provided.

Thanks for posting. If you are having issues with your Sleepbuds fitting and you have tried changing the size of the ear tips already and that doesn't help, I would contact your local support team for assistance. Here is a link you can use. Click on your region, scroll down until you see "Contact Us."

Thank you Jen!
I just purchased a pillow for my ears; I was ready to return my earbuds, because of the pressure of sleeping on them. I can't wait to try the pillow. Thank you for posting!
I'm a side sleeper and the Bose Sleepbuds hurt my ears as well, but I found a solution. There are two side sleeper pillows I tried that have cutouts for the ears.
PureComfort - Side Sleeping Pillow: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CQ9468V/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The Womfy: https://thewomfy.com
I did a comparison video here.
They're both great pillows, but I decided on the PureComfort pillow due to the bigger ear cutouts.
