I have a problem with Sleepbud return.
I return my Sleepbud through the USA.
My return finished in Jan.2020
But I can't receive anyone.
I live in South Korea, so different timeline.

Yeah, I generally leave my Sleepbuds in Phone Free Mode, but after reading this I went to check out how well the app dealt with the current IOS update.
Not very well is the answer.
The app was somewhat unresponsive, but I was eventually able to get them out of Phone Free Mode. Volume control did basically nothing at first. Not sure how that's working. It was more important to me to get them back into Phone Free Mode, so that I could continue to use them going forward.
The app definitely needs an update.
I will be keeping my Sleepbuds in Phone Free Mode until that happens.
I was able to get them to be recognised, and then out of Phone Free Mode, but it was hard work, very touch and go.
The buds were not very responsive, while I had them out of Phone Free Mode.
I put them straight back into Phone Free Mode, again, very hard to do.
We need an update for this app please.
Sleepbuds- shows alarm error and will NOT play any sound

What's the "Phone Free Mode" ? I still need my phone to control the start/stop of the buds playing music. And I still need to adjust the alarms when I need to, which is quite frequently.
Can you use the buds without the phone?

In 'Phone-Free Mode', your pre-selected sleep sound will play as soon as the Sleepbuds are removed from the charging case, there is no app required. To enter 'Phone-Free Mode':

Is it the inbuilt Sleepbud sounds within the Bose Sleep app that aren't playing?

yes the built in sound within the sleepbud app. I reset the device with a paperclip
However, once the sound is selected it has a 20-30 sec delay before it begins
When I set the alarm I get a warning! "Alarm could not be saved to the sleepbuds" after 1 min it disappears. then the alarm goes off on time , and wont stop , the dismiss does not appear.
The alarm rings and sound restarts.
it appears there are gremlins and any action is DELAYED
