Bose 500 soundbar wifi issue

My Bose 500 sound bar will not connect to Wi-Fi using the bose app. I have tried all the trouble shooting they have suggested in the product help section and nothing had worked. I have never had any trouble connecting to WiFi like this before. Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community! I am sorry to hear about your trouble hooking up your new system. Could I ask a few questions? 

 

  • Are you seeing the speaker in the Bose Music app? 
  • If so, are you getting any error lights or messages in the app when you try and connect?

Did a factory reset and is working now thanks

Í have the same problem.I am returning my unit and  b uying the Sonos beam cheaper and my friend has one a works first time much better buy
