Bose Soundbar 500 Dialogue Mode and other issues

Dialogue Mode in Bose Music app constantly switches from on to off without user interacting.

Also sleep timer, if set to 20 minutes rather than never, shuts off Sony XBR-65Z9F (Android TV v. 8).

Using Harmony Elite remote, Soundbar 500 volume is indicated on screen but there’s severe lag in response.

Bose remote seems a bit faster but please code so volume indicator shows up on screen.

Thanks for the post!


When does dialogue mode turn off?  Does it turn off overnight, or when switching sources?  How long does it typically take?


The volume is showing up on the TV due to CEC communications between the devices, and it's entirely up to the television to show any volume info.  I'll submit a request to the development team to see if it's something we can influence, however I don't believe it is.
