Connecting to Alexa on Portable

I have tried several times to connect my Portable Home Speaker to Alexa and can't. I've tried rebooting my broadband router by switching off at mains. I've done a factory reset on the speaker itself. Nothing seems to work. When I go into to the Voice Assistant part and it says Sign in with Amazon nothing happens. Also can't access the Music Service, Amazon music. Is anyone else having this problem and can help.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bose Community.

 

I'm sorry that you're having trouble enabling Alexa on your Portable Home Speaker.

 

You've taken some great steps already by rebooting your router and factory resetting the soundbar. 

May I ask what device you are using the Bose Music app on? Do you have an alternative device to test the setup?

Are you able to play other sources through the speaker such as TuneIn?

 

I'd recommend manually updating the speaker if possible. You can do this by visiting this link on your computer >> Manually updating Portable Home Speaker
