Does Home speaker support Alexa smart home accessories?

Hi,

Would like to know if I invest in smart bulbs/plugs etc., powered by Alexa would the Bose Home 500 support it or is it only available on Echo devices?

I have my Soundbar 700 working with lightwave RF lightswitches, Tado thermostat and some generic power plugs with Alexa with no issue.  Hope this helps.
