My Bose 500 home speaker has just been repaired under warranty my question is do you have to delete the app and start again as it’s not recognising my original set up

i can play through my phone on bluetooth.

the display is blank so no time shown and cannot play radio.
same as it was when it went for repair

Re: If your Bose 500 home speaker has been repaired

Hi RichardSt,

Thanks for reaching out. I would love to do what I can to help.

It might be worth putting your speaker into set up mode and reconnecting your speaker to your WiFi network. To enter Setup mode:

  • On the top of your speaker, simultaneously touch and hold the AUX and Play/Pause buttons until a 5 seconds countdown starts and completes on the display: The light bar on the front of the system blinks white twice, then then glows amber.

I hope this helps, do let us know how you get on.
