Problem setting up Alexa with Bose Music App

I am trying to set up my Soundbar 500 Alexa on the Bose music app. When I click the 'Sign In With Amazon' button it appears to be thinking about it (the circulating arrow appears) and then stops. Do I need to install an Amazon app on my smartphone (I have Amazon Alexa and Amazon Shopping apps already installed) in order to finish the setup?


I already have an Amazon account (in fact a Prime account).


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community. 


Have you attempted to delete and reinstall the app to see if this fixes your issue? I would also recommend rebooting your mobile device.

You don't say what mobile device you are using but if its Android eg Samsung make sure you are using Chrome or Firefox browser as there are known conflicts with Samsung internet when setting up Alexa.
