Bose home speaker 500
When playing a preset from Amazon prime music, the preset will continue where it left off last time it was played. If I wish to start the preset over at the beginning, I have to skip each song individually and going through the app this takes considerable time as each song can take from 10 to 30 seconds to skip.
Is there a way to automatically start the preset prime music album over from the beginning? Or to select a song without having to skip?
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community!
Regarding your query, this should be happening with all your sources. The speaker should play the last source selected when it was turned off. You should be able to select a different source, then select your desired preset and it may play from the beginning.
Let me know!
Sorry for the delay.
The source switching does not work. The only way I can start the album over is by searching it through the supported app within Bose music and starting it over manually. This defeats the purpose of the preset option but is still much faster than having to skip back through using the app. Really wish an option to restart an album or at the very least have the song list of the album appear in the media player of the Bose music app once the preset is started. Then I can select the song I want to hear and start over without having to skip or search for it again.
Thanks for getting back in touch.
Do you have Alexa set up on the speaker? You could give it a voice command to play the playlist e.g: "Alexa, play Rbradstreet's 2020 mix." This should start the playlist from the beginning.
