At this point, there isn't a way of identifying the audio format that the soundbar is receiving. It is capable of handling both Dolby Digital and DTS, and should replicate whatever the TV outputs.
Regarding the Alexa issue, is the voice assistant not responding when initiating the wake word "Alexa"? If so, what do you have to do to get it work again?
Is the system connected via ethernet or Wi-Fi?

Thanks for the update!
So just to clarify, you say something like "Alexa, what time is it?" and the LED bar does not light up and pulse like it's listening? Or is it more like "Alexa, play some rock in the living room"? This would help us understand if this is something do with basic Alexa commands or something to do with sending music to the system.
Can we try and power cycle the soundbar to see if it corrects the issue?

Are you connected via an Etherne cable?
Alexa stopped working every 24 hours when I was connected via Ethernet. Since moving to WiFi the system has been much more stable.
