Soundbar 700 plays music when I am at work

Just wanted to know if that is normal, my wife is at work, 20km away, and when she turns on Spotify and started playing her music it started playing at home on our Soundbar 700? Thanks

Hello GSTprecision,

Thanks for posting.

This sounds like your Spotify account is using Spotify Connect to still communicate with the Soundbar 700. However, this can be fixed by enabling a setting in your Spotify app.

If you open your Spotify app and navigate to Settings>Devices, you should be able to enable the toggle that says "Show local devices only."

Once you enable that settings, she will not be able to turn the system on unless connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

Let me know if this helps.

Kind Regards,
