Surround Speaker Connection

I am not sure if this topic already exists. I did a quick search but could not find answer to my question.

My question is: Is it possible to use the pre-wiring in my house to connect the wireless receiver to the surround speaker? I plan to keep the wireless receiver inside the TV unit that holds the Soundbar 700 and use the pre-wiring (and not the supplied cables) to connect the surround speaker which I plan to mount on the opposite wall. I am not sure if this will change any electrical characteristic that will lead to degraded sound.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Surround Speaker Connection

Thank you for the post, and welcome to the community.

The Surround Speakers that are compatible with the Soundbar 700 can only be connected wirelessly to the soundbar.  The audio fidelity is indistinguishable between wireless and wired with the Surround speakers when used with the Lifestyle 650.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.
