Updating Speaker via app

Trying to install/update my Home Speaker 500. The app has been “updating speaker...” for about 1 hour now. What Is the problem? And how can I fix?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the update. I'll do my best to help! 

 

Is it still updating? 

 

I would recommend resetting the speaker by unplugging it, waiting for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.

Hi skchwalton,

 

Have you had any joy with the trouble shooting steps suggested by Jessie?

If the issue is not resolved, please try pressing the Volume -  and the Bluetooth buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds. This should force your Home Speaker 500 to update.
