see the sound source of the soundbar 700 in the bose music app

How can you see which sound input source is playing the 700 soundbar?

In case it could not be right to put it in a future update

Hi Goyser,

Thanks for the question!

You can check this by opening the Bose Music app and selecting the Soundbar 700.  You'll then be able to see which source is currently active on the system.

Thanks for answering, but I think I explained myself wrongly. I was referring to how I can see if the sound that enters the sound bar is Dolby 5.1, DTS, PCM, etc. Thanks

There is not a way to tell what type of signal is being sent to the Soundbar 700, but we will pass this along to development for future consideration.
