Alexa does not stop playing radio when I say stop. Alexa plays radio on Bose 500, changes volume, changes stations but refuses to stop. I have tried removing everything (Alexa skills), removed the link to Bose in Alexa app, delete Alexa app, remove assistant from Bose Music app, removed the Bose music app, reset the speaker to factory settings, re-installed everything from scratch, even tried to manually update the system by pressing the bluetooth and volume - buttons. Still plays everything just fine but refuses to stop. Please help. Thanks
Hi - apologies for not having a solution, but I have exactly the same problem. My observation is that it only seems to happen when I'm playing BBC radio stations and I ask Alexa to "stop".
Same here. Won’t stop playing bbc radio stations. As a work around I tell her to play a song and when that starts tell her to stop. Guess it’s an issue with the bbc skill
Just tried it on my echo show and that works perfectly. You can play bbc radio and when you say stop, it stops. So this is obviously a Bose implementation issue - they need to sort it.
Same here. Echo dot, Echo Plus (2nd gen) all work perfectly. Only the Bose 500 does not. I have to ask it to play something else (any other radio station or music player) before I can ask it to stop. Clearly a Bose issue...

I'm seeing the same thing on my soundbar 500, seems like it's been a known issue in the community for a long time now with no response.
Been happening to me ever since the firmware update that added google home as an option.
Since then saying stop for anything radio related just doesn't work.
We've had to start saying "mute" to get it to stop. Kinda getting ridiculous how this hasn't been addressed yet. Pretty fundamental issue not being able to use the voice command to stop and I can’t imagine a it's hard bug to diagnose?
Can Anyone at Bose at least confirm this is a known issue being worked on?
