The Bose Community Forum was launched at a time when robust online support was not available for Bose customers. Over the past several years we have added new online service channels that provide a more interactive and complete digital experience. Additionally, we have enhanced the My Bose Account capabilities to deliver a more personalized and self-service experience. As a result, Bose has made the decision to close Community Forum for Consumer electronics products on September 30th. The Bose Pro portion of the Community will still operate as usual.

Please visit our support homepage to experience one of our many other digital service channels or simply use your Community log-in credentials to sign in to your My Bose Account to view your orders and view support options.

Thank you to all who have contributed and benefited from interacting in our Community. We look forward to continuing to serve you online.

Re: Audio Streaming on Bose Smart Home speakers

So what I've eventually done was to remove my spotify account and add it back in to the Bose music app and that fixed the issue.

Re: Audio Streaming on Bose Smart Home speakers

Lately I have been streaming Apple Music  Apple Lossless format. Ahhh very nice. Apple was smart enough to let us customize our streaming taking into consideration the device we are using and the method for getting the music from our devices to our speakers.

Currently I have my iPad set to

Streaming  - Apple Lossless

Download - Apple Lossless

Speaker Connection: Airplay.

I am full on high quality sound.

I don’t have any special hardware to take advantage of the hi-res lossless.

My iPhone

Streaming - AAC 256Kbps

Download - AAC 256Kbps

My connections are mostly BlueTooth and I have to think about file size.

Download - AAC 256Kbps

Speaker connection 3.5 mm over Audioquest SanFrancisco as  I don’t have the newest OS to take advantage of the new file formats. Time for a purple iMac I guess.

I am interested to see how a new iMac speakers will sound against my trusty Bose Companion 20 speakers. The iMac boasts the ability to process Apple Spatial and Dolby Atmos media.

At any rate I am very happy with how Apple Music, Airplay my Apple devices and my Bose speakers play together.
