Bose 300 won't reset

What devices were you using that were affected and what version are they on (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S9 on Android 11, iPhone X on iOS14, etc.) iOS14

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

Stop connecting, bar scrolling white from left to right

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)


When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

2 weeks ago & no previous issues 

Any troubleshooting steps you took

Tried reset Aux & - Vol, power off and hold mute for 10 seconds

Thank you for taking the time to post and welcome to the Bose Community. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty with updating your system, but I'd be happy to help.


Firstly, is it correct to assume you have the Home Speaker 300? If you're running into an issue with re-occurring update failure, it may be worth putting your system into recovery mode. This way, the update can restart and successfully complete. Give this a try and let me know how you get on, and what you find!
