Bose HS 500 Google play music or Youtube Premium Australia

Hi There,

Is Youtube music or Google play music going to work on Bose HS500. Like every other Google speaker at my place, was expecting HS500 to play youtube music after the Google integration.

Any idea on timeline in Australia.

Thank you for posting in the Bose Community. 

We do not have any information regarding the implementation of these services but I will be happy to pass along your comments as a feature request for our developers to consider. 

In the meantime, you can connect your device through Bluetooth to play these services if you wish to do so.

Hi ,

Very disappointing again ! Have started accepting Bose products as "Meh" now anyway. Using bluetooth for a $599 "smart" speaker - what am I cave man now !

Interesting fact - Bose sells "smart" speakers with Alexa and Google Assistant , but Amazon Music, Google Play , YouTube Music, Google Audio Cast doestn't work !!

I agree with that, if it is integrated with google it should be able to play the music services that Google can.

I just set up the HS 450 and was equally disappointed to discover that YouTube Music is still not supported. I bought this speaker as an upgrade to my Google Home speaker, which I have been using daily with voice commands to play music on YouTube Music. I understand I can use BT instead, but that's not nearly as convenient as a voice command. Please let us know if there are any plans to support YouTube Music.
