Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community!
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing a Lag. You can adjust this in the Bose Music Application under Audio.
Let me know how you get on!

I have the same issue with my TCL P8M TV. I have configured the soundbar to turn on when I turn on the tv. All configuration(CEC, music app) are set up correctly. But every time I turn on the tv(soundbar via the tv) I get an audio delay. I can only fix this by going to audio options of my tv and changing auto to PCM and auto again. I have to do this every time I turn on the tv and the soundbar. Hope this can be fixed in the next firmware.
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Bose Community Forums.
I am so sorry that you are having this issue. The steps you have taken with the TV settings are a great start, but I can understand the annoyance in needing to do this every time.
Can I please ask, have you tried the steps mentioned above, in the Bose Music app to resolve this issue?
I look forward to your response.

I've had this issue to vary degrees since installation of my Soundbar 700.
When paired with my Sony Bravia KD-55X7000E lip-sync is out and noticeably delayed (not fixable by the in app delay setting, this just exacerbates the issue). The delay gets worse on streamed content from inbuilt apps from the Smart TV firmware. An ongoing issue I haven't been able to resolve using either Optical or ARC, changing cables, software updates nor doing a complete re-install when I recently moved.
If this is an unfixable issue, is there a recommended TV that this setup does work with (without a sync issue) as I am in the market for a new HDMI 2.1 compatible OLED to replace my current 4K entry-level TV.
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions!

I had an issue that sounds very similar to what you reported, and have found a resolution. Yesterday I set up a new Soundbar 700 with a Sony XBR-65X900E TV. I tried watching television and streaming a couple of shows from Netflix and a movie from Amazon, and everything seemed fine. However, later that evening we rented a movie from Amazon, and the A/V lip sync was terrible! There appeared to be a few seconds of delay between the audio and video. It was so bad that we watched the rest of the movie without the Soundbar.
Today, I found this article: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00026069
and followed the instructions to change the A/V Sync setting. It had been in set to Auto, and when I changed it to On, it resolved the issue with the problematic movie. I checked some other streamed content and live TV, and so far, so good.
