Latest FW update has resolved my issues, no drop outs or issues. Watched all of the F1 fron this morning.
Thanks Bose, please don't mess it up with another update. FW is now 5.014, broken FW is 5.012.

Except if you read the Bose post for this update it is not to fix the ARC issue but other minor bugs. The ARC fix is on the pipeline. God help us all when it comes.
Whatever Bose released has fixed my issues for now. I have tested from multiple HDMI sources on my Sony QLED TV. No issues as I was facing from end of August. Maybe I need to run it for longer and confirm back. Let me not too excited then 🙂

Can someone tell me how to force the firmware update please? Looking like there are some happier customers on here after the update.
I think the automatic updates happen in the early hours normally. Mine seemed to happen sometime overnight, when I popped it on at lunch it had updated. I did have to resync the CEC but ok for now ... anthough not yet convinced. Time will tell.
Back to your point ... I think a firmware update happens as part of a factory reset. So give that a go if you have the time!
