Bose Surround Speaker 700 -

Hi,

 

I have a hardware issue in one of the "Bose Surround Speaker 700" speakers. After following all technical support scenarios and possible solutions, I just noticed a minor defect in the speaker itself after comparing it to the other one. Both of internal copper receivers (located at the bottom of the speaker), who are both used to transmit the sound from the adaptor are somehow hidden (compared to the speaker). Therefore, the sound is flowing from the adapter to the speaker.

 

The speaker itself is working as I tried to put the both cables (+/-) directly to copper receivers and without the adapter. However, I did this step just to ensure that the speaker is working fine. But when I need to connect the speaker with the adapter (at the bottom), it does not work.

I'm sorry to hear of this issue you are experiencing with the Surround Speakers 700's and the audio. This is most unusual.
