Bose app requires sign in every time

Pretty much every time I open the Bose app it requires me to sign in. Is there a way to tell the app to stay signed in all the time?

Thanks for the question!

 

The app is designed to stay logged in to your account until you manually sign out.

 

It could be that there are permissions issues on your phone, and the app is not able to save your login info.  What version of Android are you running on your device?

 

Can you try the Bose Music app on a different smartphone?  Does the same issue happen there?

here the same problem, using Samsung galaxy S9+ with android pie.

i have to login into again several times a week.

 

a solution would be much appreciated..

Same problem here using a Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

Hi Ed and Darren,

 

Thank you for chiming in.  Can you go into Settings>About and get the exact firmware versions of your phone?

 

As well, can we try to go into Settings>Apps, select the Bose Music app, then clear the data and cache for the app?  Once that is done you'll have to log back in.

 

How often are you logged out of the Bose Music app?

i can't find the option for clearing the data and cache.

 

i have to log in several times a week, also with the older version of android.

Thank you for the info!

 

I've found some instructions for clearing the app cache and data.  Can you try this out?

 

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen
  2. Navigate: Settings > Apps.
  3. Ensure All apps is selected (upper-left).
    If necessary, tap the Dropdown icon (upper-right) then select All apps.
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
  5. Tap Storage.
  6. Tap CLEAR CACHE.

Hi,
I am also sometimes required sign in again, once every two or three. And another time, bluetooth setting menu on the app disappear frequently.
Hope get better.
