I am wondering if it's possible to turn off the wifi and Bluetooth on the Bose Soundbar 700?
Some help with this would be appreciated.
There is no way to switch off this feature altogether, but if you factory reset the soundbar, it will disconnect from WiFi and if you do not connect anything to it via Bluetooth, it will not be in Bluetooth mode.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions.
Yes this would be correct.
May I ask why you do not want to have your Soundbar 700 in WiFi mode? As this will severely limit your speakers capabilities.
I look forward to hearing from you.
The salesman told me that Wifi could be disabled that's why I bought it. But the reason is because of the emerging information about the negative effects of wifi radiation on the health of our bodies. So I would like the option to have the wifi off in this case. A lot of brands are implementing the feature to be able to turn wifi on or off in their products because of this know concern from there customers.
Sorry to hear that you were mis-sold this product Adam.
We appreciate your feedback on this and have made note of this today for you.
Adam, if you look at the owners manual it explains how to do this. Congratulations on realizing that wifi and bluetooth are harmful!
